川崎の行政区域の変遷
1924年7月1日 : 橘樹郡川崎町、御幸村、大師町が合併して市制施行。
1937年4月1日 : 橘樹郡高津町及び日吉村の一部を編入。日吉村の一部は横浜市に編入。
1938年10月1日 : 橘樹郡稲田村、向丘村、宮前村及び生田村を編入。橘樹郡が消滅。
1939年4月1日 : 都筑郡柿生村及び岡上村を編入。埋立地以外で現在の市境が確定。
この他、明治以降の埋め立ての進行で市域は海に向かって拡大している。
昔はどこも村だったんだよねぇ。
